You asked for it, you got it!
We get asked all the time where we find things, where we shop, who we are, and where Jen’s weird clothes come from. Now, you’ll get a weekly dose of it on the website. Each Friday, we’ll feature picks from one to all of our lovely FCD ladies. You’ll be able to link through to explore what we love and what we’ve got our eyes on out there. You’ll even be able to buy some of it through us! For now, you can always contact us for info on ordering FCD-carried pieces, but we’re working on an online inventory shop where you can browse online, shop from your own home, and have it delivered or picked up right from our studio! We’re so good to you, aren’t we?
I covet most things I find on Goop, so this number is no exception. I’m definitely more of a simple jewelry person, so this wider chain is out of the box for me but it could be paired with a denim button down and wide-leg pants for a more casual look. Great price point too!
$750-1200 (through us)
We’ve been loving this series from one of our go-to lighting brands Hudson Valley Lighting. It’s modern and fun, and can fit in so many settings like over an island, in a stairwell, or in an entry. There are several versions from this geo shape to a lantern if you’re not ready to “go there” just yet. Stay tuned for images of two versions of this fixture in projects we’re working on!

I live for Massimo Dutti. It’s my go to clothing line. They also have THE BEST sales. They happen to have a sale going on right now, so check them out if you are not familiar with this Spanish brand known for their clean lines and simple silhouettes. I’m dying for this pale blue bomber. It’s perfect over a tee and can easily take you into fall. I’m also swooning for this jacket and this skirt!
CB2 has been killing it lately, and this sleek zebra chair is no exception. It’s a tad bit glam but with a cool sling style in the seat which makes it workable in different types of décor. I’d love to put this in an entry, a sitting room as a pair, or in a kids playroom!
I love upcycling! Finding new, fun and creative ways to reuse and recycle is a perfect way to create something unique. Juliet Ames, the brilliant Baltimore-based jewelry maker behind The Broken Plate does just that. Vintage plates from consignment, family heirloom dishes, even the Chrissy Teigen line from Target are all canvases for Juliet’s handmade and beautiful work! I love following her Insta @thebrokenplate for updates on what she’s working on (and cooking) each day!
Summertime cocktails are fun to sip by the pool but can be so full of sugar and calories! These zero calorie, plant based packets add fun and flavor to a boring vodka soda and keep you bikini-body ready. They come perfectly sized to throw into your tote before heading out for a day in the sun.
I have always loved the fabulous prints from Katie Kime out of Austin, TX. Whether it’s funky flamingos on wallpaper or perky pineapples on pajamas, she has such a great way with color and style. My new favorite items are notecards and journals from her Paperie line. They are fun, funky and fresh just like everything she does, especially if you love that colorful, preppy style perfect for summertime!
I’m in love with this guy!! We styled him in a client’s office and he brought a little levity and lightheartedness to a very masculine design. He’s beautifully sculpted and inspired by a French antique. Marcel’s twin is currently our studio mascot until he finds a good home!
It’s summertime, and I do a lot of poolside entertaining. I’m OBSESSED with this gorgeous piece – both bar and cooler, with storage, a workspace and so much style! It’s truly the perfect addition to any backyard party!
In love with these hand painted glasses. They’re just so graceful. Plus, I’m always a sucker for gold accents.
I’m loving this midi dress. It’s such a bold color choice (and my favorite color coincidentally), and I love how to texture of the jacquard swirls show both the satiny and matte elements.
Mules are great for the summer to pair with any outfit outfit and instantly look chicer. These funky but sleek Anthropologie mules add a pop of pattern.
Almost all of my earrings are from Baublebar; they’re super trendy but extremely affordable (which everyone knows is the best combo). These collarbone-grazing drop earrings bring an elegant touch to funky gemstones.
These vases have fantastic structures and color scheme but at the same time do not take away from the flowers in them.
